I killed a mosquito last night after being bitten on the ring joint of the ring finger while in bed. On freakin’ December 3rd! Fingers and toes are the worst places for a skeeter attack. The itch seems to flare through every digit of that particular appendage.

Here we are worrying about H1N1, piglet fever, when the warming climate will bring all sorts of nasty tropical disease up through the blood-sucking vectors.
