What a shape, or series of shapes; what a color! The nerdlings at Wikipedia are all about the fractals and the logarithmic spiral, but this noble Brassica is not to be reduced to the mathematical. The photograph does not do it justice at all. I hope I did it justice in another way, by turning it into soup. There is one more week left of my CSA for the season. I must make some apple crisp to tide me over...
