All aboart the cash-cow Enterprise

Someone who shall remain unnamed got a hold of a bootleg copy of the new Star Trek movie. I don’t watch very many DVDs and I’d never seen a bootleg before, but what the hell. It was of predictably crappy quality, with many close-ups framed so that the eyes of characters were missing. Maybe this was the Ken Jacobs version, In addition, the pirate copy was graced with this editorial commentary on the back of the cover: This snark was the best thing about the movie, which is evidently the precursor to a new series called Star Trek: The Teen Generation. My Twitter-y review: hyperactive, loud, and boring, but Uhura's still hot.
