My installation piece, The Lost Medicine Cabinet, is up against the wall. I spent about an hour this afternoon mating it to the vertical at Proteus Gowanus with the help of one of the co-curators. The exhibit, Mend, opens mid-October, having been pushed back from next week. I'll let you know when the gates are open.Just as it started to rain Saturday afternoon, I noticed a very large spider beyond the fence that seals off the Back 40. Was it Charlotte? Sure looked like her. There’s a rarely used picnic table with folded umbrella over there, amid a jungle of invasive weeds. The spider wisely took shelter inside the canvas as the rain fell. There is now a very large orb web.
