CP Birds
Three hours in Central Park with Starr this morning. Warblers: Black-throated blue, black-throated green, northern parula, Nashville, magnolia, northern waterthrush, black and white, Canada, chestnut-sided, ovenbird, American redstart. Also, mallard, Canada goose, black crowned night heron, snowy egret, cormorant, rose-breasted grosbeak, Baltimore oriole, great crested flycatcher, olive-sided flycather, blue-headed vireo, red-eyed vireo, Swainson’s thrush, wood thrush, hermit thrush, veery, crow, common grackle, chimney swift, barn swallow, robin, catbird, starling, rock pigeon, morning dove, blue jay, cardinal, house sparrow. They were still going strong in the Loch when I broke off to get back here to blog (among other things).
