Two Sundays ago on my walk along the Shore Trail under the Palisades, I heard a single cicada. Yesterday morning, I heard another in City Hall Park. The scouts of August have arrived.
"It"? The bomb? Thanks, but alas I'm busy reading Harry Potter Inside the Hogworts Girls Dorm. Much better than the last instalment, Harry Potter Goes to the Peoples Chamber of Deputies, and even surpasses the now classic Harry Potter and the Goblet of High-Fuctose Corn Syrup
