The first section of the new Brooklyn Bridge Park is open. I like that it juts into the East River, letting us get out there next to the water. One downside of this is that we’re closer to the heliport across the way; the roar of the helicopters was particularly obnoxious.
And once you turn around, the god-damned BQE greets you.
