Lemon bars
Not so long ago, I had some lemon curd in the Switzerland of Brooklyn, Windsor Terrace. It was so good, the bowl had to be taken from me before I ate it all. I hadn't had any in many years. When I was young, I didn’t like it, for much is wasted on youth. This past weekend we made some of our own, laying it on shortbread base for lemon bars.

Never made it like that, always bake the custard in the shell like a lemony pecan pie. I bet it's better that way.
Sounds like apples and oranges, both plenty good.
That looks delightful... tomorrow I will do the same.
