This red fox ambled along the side of the road, past cars, people, cameras, doing its thing.

I can't get enough of that sly little guy either. Beautiful pics!
twice lately we have seen foxes as well. once a side road, ambling along looking he was hungover and had stayed out all night, the second one on a SIDEWALK in a suburb of montreal, walking like he was on his way to work.
lovin' yr blog, as usual...don't suppose you've seen fantastic mr. fox, the film? was ok, but bugged me how the latin names of all the animals were displayed on screen with the species name capitalized as well as the genus...a small thing, but the sort of thing that drives a fella crazy...I appreciate your correct citations, et cetera...
Thanks. I haven't seen that other (movie version) of the fab Mr. Fox (this one could be a Ms) yet. Biology and the movies don't mix well, that's for sure, as Jerry Seinfeld's ridiculous bee movie among other things show us.
