I glanced down and this whitish glob was next to the pupal husk. Moving...
Hunting for her spots, perhaps?
I made a quick transition to the Back Forty.
She's grabbed a hold of an edge. When I checked a few minutes later, she had moved underneath this leaf, which is better cover, and there seemed to be a flare of color on her elatra. I gather she's finding her spots.
