This week’s sour cherries were much riper than the last bunch I purchased. Juice everywhere while pitting them (I use a chopstick), always a good sign. I know that a pie is traditional, but I just eschew the dough and go for a compoty sauce that is superlative with ice cream or yogurt.
There are potatoes in the pressure cooker. I'll make some salad, dressing them while hot in oil and vinegar before adding other things.
