Never, never make oatmeal raisin cookies with “quick 1 minute” oatmeal. Unfortunately, it was the only thing in the local supermarket (!) a couple of weeks ago when we had a craving. Turns out pabulum cereal makes for pabulum cookies. Yesterday we remedied our palates with real oatmeal cookies, using the good organic oats from the PSFC, where they still sell real food. Ummmm! I highly recommend oatmeal cookies for breakfast.
