Hello. I stumbled across your blog when I was looking for info on Dead Horse Bay. Now I'm hooked! These are great pics of the American Oystercatcher--I spotted one for the first time out at DHB and had no idea what it was, but was able to identify it by another post I read on your blog. It's really neat to read about all the natural curiosities right here in Brooklyn. Thanks!
