Ambergill

I did not see the American bittern that was reported yesterday in the Ambergill section of the Ravine this afternoon. However, black and white warbler, winter wren, brown creeper, hooded merganser, hermit thrush, and shower of ruby-crowned kinglets were to be see there. The black and white was the first of the season for me. The hoodies were unexpected, since the Ambergill is a small bit of water I rarely see anything but the occasional mallard on.
