Misc.

Does anybody know what Brooklyn-made Acqua Lina was? No luck on the innernets, which is a notably poor source when it comes to history pre-innernets. I suspect it was a cleaning product of some kind. A beverage wouldn't have come from a MFG CO.

This morning, the neighborhood mocking bird ('e's a mocka, not a rocka) rang through the changes of a car alarm. What a city punk.

One of the bee peeps has organized an exhibit concerning apis that opens tomorrow in the erstwhile meatpacking district of the Inner Borough. Take a look at the beautiful honeycomb cast in gold, using the lost wax process.

Something to do with the water line? A lid or something?
